Application:

The head of the test finger cannot touch the live parts or hazardous parts, and the plastic dam-board cannot enter.Because of the differences between different standards , the test details should be according to the related standard. This instruction is only according to IEC 61032&GB 16842

The extension of the handle represents the arm of the child.

The handle is provided with an extension 451,6 mm long, and the probe should be applied with or without this extension, whichever is the more onerous condition.Both joints shall permit movement in the same plane and the same direction through an angle of 90°.

It is mainly used for simulating children’s fingers approaching to the hazardous parts. Diameter 8.6mm test finger simulates the children’ s fingers who are bigger than 36 months and smaller than 14-year-old. Diameter 5.6 mm test finger simulates the children who are smaller than 36 months.
